This blog was initially an assignment for  LIBR 500 – Section 99C, one of the core courses at UBC’s School of Library, Archival and Information Studies. The assignment was to write about current issues and trends as they pertained to Library 2.0/Web 2.0 technology.

Though the assignment is now long past, the blog persists, with the focus having shifted from just 2.0 technology to information in general (i.e. whatever strikes the fancy of the author).

For an explanation of the name of the blog and why ‘overbooked’ isn’t as bad as it sounds, check this out!

In any event, enjoy the posts and leave a comment about anything rings particularly true, false, or anywhere in between.
